With Moxxies origin, wouldn’t it have made more sense if Moxxie just lied about his home ring? This would explain why he didn’t fit in with the wrath imps in harvest moon and wasn’t used to the culture. It would also have more impact to find out he lied to Millie of all people, because it makes you wonder, “why would he do that? He trusts Millie.” And while Millie is upset and questions it, Blitzø understands. A turn around of the usual dynamic.

I feel like there are ways to make new ideas fit with your story, and if they have an obvious inconsistency at first, you can adapt that into characters voicing the same confusion and questions the audience may have. Then just provide an in-universe answer. Book no more explanatory Twitter threads needed for your show.

Don’t just throw shit at the wall and hope it sticks. Or less graphically, don’t paint a wall green then later touch up the paint with blue and call it the same colour. Paint it turquoise.

It makes sense that Moxxie would lie about his home ring since he changed his own name just to hide from it. And that twist even makes the story and conflict better. At the dinner table Millie might even bring this lie up, having Crimson use it to try and drive a wedge between them. Because what else is he lying about? Same with Blitzø going to wrath after leaving Verosika, but in the next episode say to stolas that hes never been there. Both cant be true.

This episode just missed so many marks. On paper, Crimson and Chaz are a good dynamic duo of villains, one serious and dangerous, the other the less scary comic relief. You could have kept Crimsons scene very dark and serious, then after it ends and he goes upstairs to bed, Chaz does the dumb dick jokes. You keep Crimson as a threat, and keep the silliness you wanted, just keep that part focussed on Chaz. That’s what a comic relief is.

I just feel like the show needs consideration of its audience. There are ways to resolve plot holes by adapting the story slightly, even use them to create new reveals and new conflict.

The sounds of the critters at night were always quite the melody for the kind of night that anyone much like Pearl Houziki, upcoming Idol and... as of now Solo Idol was seen walkiing around the city of Inkopolis. A few Inklings then and there were whispering. They could at least recognize Pearl Houziki, but deep down, she knew why. All those whispers, wondering and spreading gossip about what truly was supposed to be Pearl.

"And on the latest news, Upcoming Idol of the Calamary Country, Pearl Houziki, self-claimed MC Princess, had released the new hit single...uhhhh, can We even say that on live TV? Surely we can't... Anyways, thats definitely not important for now. Her hit solo with the song has been on quite the rise and a bit of controversy by some managers. Expressing quite unease at the bold decision with a title like that."

On the big screen of the entire city and Pearl's "TCH!" was louder than everything He could just express and keeping it civil around lots of folks that would turn around to face Her.

Taking a Cake break with some cookie crumbles and her favorite top glaze being just a strawberry-flavor one, He sits down to ease away Her worries. However, as per say Her dreams and goals be on teh way now, Pearl definitely was the topic and trend as of now, yet for not exactly what the MC Inkling had expected. Nonetheless, A step is a step, and Pearl was used to the many talks behind Her back. Deeply though, the Upcomer Inkling had yet to get used to being compared time and time again for the so famous Squid Sisters.

There is only so much He can take yet despite having The freedom to do so, The chains of being put against a Splatana was SO MUCH, She only wants TO scream. Scream and Never stop.

Pearl found himself just relaxing and laying on the branch of a Tree at the noon. Not sure on what to do. Not sure what will be the next one. He just ponders at the moon. "Coddamnit...not again. not again with this shit."

Night came in at Mount Nantai and Pearl still kept on pondering on the tree. Crossed arms, and just looking at the only accompany of the almost sunlight eclipsed by the dark starry skies.

"HHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" With a really cursed and loud seething. It wasn't much that Pearl could just shout louder and louder.

The more than obvious Scream made a HUGE ramble against the mountains and the grass. It was like an earthquake for anyone surrounding it. Some drops were seen from the chin of Her face. "I HAD ENOUGH. I COULD CARE LESS! I DON'T WANT BE ANYONE!! BUT...Me...." Her strong Killer-Wail like voice making a scene to ruckus and shaking of everything that the road was. Unbeknownst...the surface down there, seemingly seem to crumble more. Like something trying to punch it out from the inside.

"I could care less what the shell they think of Me. I'm not changing. I don't....huh?"

The shake got more than apparent and stronger. Making everything just crumble, and some bright-blue colored ink launching upwards.

"WHOA!! WHAT THE CLAM IS?!?!" Pearl barely dodged and tried to get Her Enperry Dualies from the belt He had, but he lost the footing. And the Punk Idol, couldn't grab at anything. He felt and just saw the sight of everything that was once the surface...fade and get further away.

Everything was black. There was a void of anything, but Pearl could make out something...

"S-SURRENDER! In-Inkling Invader!!" Pearl was barely conscious, but He could see now...something She didn't expect.

A beautiful curly tentacled hair...Octo? It didn't had the Squid mask, and the hair as well the eyes that could barely glow. A glow that made Her eyes return with full of color. Pearl could see that just like She was getting point at by what seemed a .52 gal, yet despite it...

Hello! I am a baby stay - very enthusiastic and very confused!

I have questions but I keep seeing "fake fan" posts. Are stays usually excited about new stays joining or are they mean to new stays? Can I ask questions online or will stays be upset because I don't know very much?

Can you explain their names? I get confused by Minho and ¿Jeongin? - are those just other names for lee know and IN? Do other members have alternate names? Sometimes I can't figure out ship names and I think it's because of this. Han gets called something else too I think sometimes.

Hi:) sorry for taking too long to answer I was busy but im glad you're a fan:) so to answer your first question , no Stays don't mind at all!! I mean we all started as baby stays so I know it might seem scary but people are always happy and Im not sure where these "fake fan" posts are coming from , I personally have never seen them but ofc there will always be toxic fans (every fandom has it so thats expected but we have more good fans than toxic so thats good). Also, people are generally happy to receive any type of ask and they will not be mean at all, unless they are just a mean person haha (don't get discouraged , like I said more good fans than mean or toxics fans haha).

For your second question, yes they are just simply nicknames so they all have them , here are some commons ones and a good post on quora. And I know its confusing (I accidentally tagged them wrong in my posts when I was a baby stay haha so its all good nobody expects you to learn their names and nicknames right away, you'll get used to it as you go).

For your third question , completion albums like replay are divided into A side and B side so the B side tracks are with no psychical release so online but here is a google simple explanation: "SKZ-RECORD is a collection of songs by members of Stray Kids that were not formally released. These include special tracks, covers and other non-promotional projects released by the members on YouTube. SKZ-PLAYER is a collection of video projects by members of Stray Kids that were not formally released." And no not all skz songs are gonna have Music videos sadly but I don't think anyone really does that.

And for your fourth question, the only subunit that was established , I think before they became official is 3racha (han, Bang Chan, and changbin and also rap-line) and they produce the majority of their music so song writing, composing, and producing. The rest of the rachas followed this and while danceracha (Lino, Felix, Hyunjin) are the main dance group , so they lead, and sometimes help with choreography but they are not as established as 3racha but they are known to be I guess the "best" so thats why they lead, especially Lino. (he used to be a backup dancer for BTS). And then there is vocalrachca which is mainly Seungmin and I.N. All of this is confusing I know but don't worry, you will get it as you go.

For your last question, 'shipping' like in a friendship way is totally okay and we all do it but not more than that, like there are people who always just take it too far and it is very inappropriate and the members have not said anything unless its just to entertain their friendship 'ships' for fun. So when it comes to "shipping" just use common sense I guess, these are real people and we see them together all the time bc they are a group/freinds so you can't speculate on their personal or relationship status'. It's just deeply uncomfortable, unethical, and just weird so as long as its just for friendship like you will see a lot of people tag some posts with their favorite duo as "hyunlix" which is Felix and hyunjin for example but nothing weird. So here is again a great thread from Quora for those names.

How did you actually come up with mayhem x not cup? It seems like such a weird yet canon ship I love it I want to learn more

Oh i actually had art of that ship waaaaay back before posting on tumblr

Made this around the middle of last year. And then i posted this when i first started tumblr (you long-time fishies/followers out there who was with me with my first post might remember this lol)

From all i could remember from my past-self's thoughts, Not-Cup was, from what i imagined, a hollow and black eyed version of Cuphead that appeared in real Cuphead's dream in the labyrinth. Which is waaaaay different cuz in the canon, its actually just the usual cuphead that we know, except evil with toungue. I was wondering why he was in the Tear—was he an anomaly like mayhem? Was he an illusion like ava and black hat? Or is he smth else like i dunno, a future cuphead that is potentially possessed by an ink machine part? (As you guys know, when a character gets possessed by this shit, their eyes turn black like Cog!Holly, Cog!Cala and Instument!boris and sarah. Except the brush with mick tho, i dunno why is that)

But anyway, this question gets unanswered leaving me to headcanon that he is an "actual" character and not just a manifestation or illusion of the labyrinth. Just like Mayhem who we thought was an illusion till she's revealed to be an actual character in the series. (This question regarding Not-Cup is still unanswered lol, regardless of an answer, im still shipping them)

Now, onto the actual question, well i dunno if u ship cuphead and holly (i do) and if you'd notice, witchbrew is (obviously) a parallel of the colly ship. Colly are in the hero side, while Witchbrew is on the villain side. I would love to see an actual couple be villains, it sucks that theyre always single XD. If Cuphead had his Holly, then why cant Mayhem have her Not-Cup, hm? Nah-uh aint gonna let that happen

And then boom! This shit--i mean ship is created. Lol i dunno if this makes any sense 😭

Also this ship has ties with my theory regarding of Mayhem's origin and if there will be a canon origin of her story thats gonna be different from my theory, well, lets say this might just be a small fanon ship that randomly came outta nowhere XD

Regarding their origin love story, it starts with my theory that Mayhem is the future Holly that is fully possessed by the cog when the questers went to the desert (forgot its name) to finf the machine. Cuphead goes desperate and asks help from a part? (Eh, i really havent thought about how cuphead got possessed lol) And then he teams up with Mayhem.

The problem is, Cuphead did it out of love, regrets (regret that he didnt manage to save holly even tho it wasnt his fault), and guilt. While Mayhem got possessed by the Cog due to her previous connection to it that got stronger. So i this ship, its painfully one-sided. Painful truth.

But when interacting, they act a bit like a bickering couple, Mayhem being the terrifying teaser she is while Not-cup is the sarcastic serious one. Tho he sometimes act like the actual Cuphead Dish from the questers. They may also act a bit like the duplicates of Colly in appearance.

Not-Cup likes to help Mayhem mess with the Questers as they try to hunt down and restore the duo.

And as for Chaos the Cat... I dunno where the fuck does he fit in lol

From what i remember i think i had a digital version of Mayhem's Tango? Its burried deep down in the ocean... Btw Mayhem's tango was inspired by the song "You'll be mine (Alice's Tango)" by Chi-Chi. I also had other songs that i associate mayhem with (mostly its just bendy fansongs lol) but i dunno if u wanna hear abt it :/

Life Series Solar System- a Winner's Symbolism Ramble

So we all know the winners of a life series get assigned space motifs, right? We've got sun, stars, and moon solidly covered. What about the planets?

I'm Mleem, I go feral about symbolism in an unscripted block people series, and here's the list of which lifer I would assign to each of the planets. This list does not contain all lifers. I do not have ideas for all lifers. I have planets and I'm a space nerd.

MERCURY- SCAR

All planets but Earth are named after Roman deities. Some domains of the god Mercury include trickery, thievery, and commerce. Sound like anyone? GoodTimesWithScam himself is right at home with all of that. It's also the closest planet to the sun [gestures at desert duo] and its very high temperature seems fitting for HotGuy.

VENUS- SKIZZ

Venus is the goddess of love. Love is stored in the Skizz. He's been the kindest person throughout his series, and puts his love for his friends over all else. Plus, Heart Foundation. Venus as a planet, however, is an extremely brutal and deadly place, just like how Skizz can easily succumb to bloodlust. He may be loving, but he is not harmless.

EARTH- GEM

Gem is extremely associated with nature, with her cottagecore aesthetic being one of the reasons. But Gem also embodies the darker parts of nature- she is deadly and predatory. She is life in all its parts, fitting for our living planet. She's also a great duo with Pearl, our local moon!

MARS- MARTYN

Listen, I know Martyn's cosmic motif is debated, but I really think Mars fits him. First off, his name means "devoted to mars". Secondly, the hand of dogwarts and the victor with the most brutal win works very well with the planet named for the god of war.

JUPITER- IMPULSE

The biggest planet, named for a god of storms and lightning. Electrical impulses, perhaps? True to its name, Jupiter is a stormy planet, with its very well-known Great Red Spot being a storm that never stops. Seems fitting for the guy who never, ever lets a grudge go. Also, fun fact- Jupiter has a nearly identical composition to that of a star. And they're both Scotts.

SATURN- BDUBS

Yes, I know he built the earth, but hang on a second. While Saturn, in Roman mythology, is most well known for. uh. something horrible, he was also the titan of time. Something Bdubs is very, very associated with. Saturn as a planet is known for it's beautiful rings, which. Just feels very Bdubs to me. Maybe it's the canonical marriage in Double Life.

URANUS- JOEL?

This is the one I'm least certain on. The Joel association is mainly vibes, pulling from the fact that Uranus in mythology was a sky god (the first one, before Jupiter showed up) and so was Joel in Empires. But really, it's mostly because he'd find the name funny. Someone had to be it.

Uranus is also sideways. The planet is on its side compared to everything else in the Solar System. This doesn't help the Joel vibes, I just wanted to mention it.

NEPTUNE- LIZZIE

What better lifer for the planet named after the god of the seas, than the Ocean Queen herself? An incredibly distant planet, and a player that hasn't joined many series, Neptune also has a very interesting trait to its orbital path- very rarely, it will cross that of Pluto, making Neptune the most distant. And that brings us to...

PLUTO- JIMMY

Who else but our canary in the coal mine, first to fall all but once, to take the (dwarf) planet named for the god of the underworld. Death, and the underground. Demoted once-planet with cringefail swag, yet still beloved by many. The furthest away from the center of our solar system, and perhaps thats why he's so vulnerable to dying first. Maybe Lizzie and him crossed orbits, and that's why she fell first instead.

That was all that was heard from the 2 toned eyed Eriksson before she booked it down the stairs and out the front door with out her signature purple cardigan.

She ran to the Baumann household and began Rapidly knocking on the door. "I'm coming I'm Coming hold your horses Ivory" Granny knew it was her immediately, meaning Tamarack was indeed home. The door opened to reveal her only Granny. "Yes Deary? Oh goodness where is your Cardigan! It's cold!"

Ivory looked down confusedly only to see her white blouse with one of her favorite flowers printed all over, a Pyramidal saxifrage. "Oh! I thought I grabbed it, that's why it's cold" she said with a giggle before looking up at Granny. "Is TamTam home? Knapp came up with a really fun game and she wants to play with TamTam and the boys!" Ivory said as she shifted her weight from her toes to her heels repeatedly as she spoke.

"Why yes she is. Let me go get her"

"Can you tell her to meet Ali and I in our backyard? I still have to grab the boys!"

"Yes I can"

"Thank you Granny!" She said turning to go to Qius house to Inform him before Granny yelle out to her" Go put on your cardigan before you do so!" it was not negotiatable. She quickly ran back through he front door and you the stairs, stumbling abit as she rushed up stairs and into her sisters room.

"Button! Can you wait for TamTam in the backyard while I go grabbed the Boys?"

"Ya" Allison said getting off her desk chair to follow her sister as Ivory grabbed her Cardigan to go to her friend’s house where Him and the rest of the club were. ‘How Convenient’ she thought to herself after buttoning the last button on her Cardigan, opened the backyard where her favorite Copper headed friend was already.

“Hi TamTam!”

“Hiiii!” The hyper girl said as she rapidly waved at the duo. “I need to go grab the boys. Can you wait here with Ali?" Tamarack nodded as Ivory began to speed walk to the other yard while Tamarack gave Allison a big hug.

Arriving at her last destination she was in luck, the rest if the club was already walking out to the Lins backyard. 'My luck is unbeatable today!' she thought to herself with a large grin as she sped up to get to them. "Hi Guys!"

"Hi Ryru!" "Hello" "..."

She smiled brightly at the boy even though Darren looked a bit uncomfortable.

"Can you guys come to my backyard? Knapp came up with a really fun game to play! Tamarack is already there."

She gestured to her backyard where they could Allison and Tamarack drawing in the dirt with sticks."She wants to play it with you guys!"

And with that the rest of the club curious as Allison was never one to Entionate play with anyone other than Ivory. They followed the brown haired girl to her backyard where she immediate placed hers of next Silver eyed sister

"Want me to tell them?"

All Allison gave in response was a small nod as she gripped onto Ivorys Cardigan sleeve.

"Ok so! The game is kinda like hide and seek but instead everyone is both a hider AND seeker!"

That confused everyone else. "How can you be both the Hider and Seeker?" Qiu pipped in.

"Because everyone is hunting eachother. Well, everyone has 1 Target but you don't know who's target you are! Like I could be Baxter's target but my target is Tamarack! Does that make sense?"

After a bit of more explaining of the game the kids went back home to tell their parents since they decided they would play it in the town.

In a few days they would all draw a name from a bag to decide who their target was.

“You know,” the Doctor says, conversationally. “I would be much more inclined to help if you didn’t— Ow!”

He’s punched in the stomach this time — better than the face, it likes this face, and broken noses are always a hassle.

“Leave him alone!” Donna shouts.

“Look, all we want to know is what you lot are planning,” says the man, the Doctor didn’t catch his name and frankly it doesn’t care.

“We’ve told you,” Donna says. “We’re not planning anything, we’re just travellers.”

The man gets all up in the Doctor’s space, who leans away as far as it can. “If you don’t start telling the truth, I’ll hit the girl.”

“Oi!” Donna cuts in. The Doctor does its best to not sigh out loud. “Why aren’t you hitting me now?”

“Donna—“

“You’d think that in two thousand years we’d’ve solved sexism.”

“Well, considering they have actual slaves, I’m not surprised,” the Doctor hisses. “Besides, you getting punched in the face isn’t a win for women’s rights!”

“And you getting punched in the face isn’t a win for alien—” Donna catches herself, right after it would’ve helped.

The Doctor turns back to face the man, dreading what’s to come.

“What do you mean, alien?”

“Just our little joke,” the Doctor responds, laughing nervously. “So odd, must be an alien, right Donna.”

“Yup! Really odd, this one. Way too thin. Kind of strange.”

They would make a good improv troupe. Good at interrogations… not so much.

“What sort of alien are you?” the man asks.

“Not alien!” the Doctor responds. “One hundred percent human!”

The man punches him in the face. The Doctor’s head whips to the side. A drop of blood rolls down his face and lands on its coat.

“Not an alien.”

He’s punched again, and beside it, he can feel Donna flinch.

“Still not an alien.”

The man punches him in the nose again, and the Doctor lets out a cry.

“He’s a Time Lord!” Donna blurts out. She winces. “Sorry.”

“It’s okay.”

The Doctor looks up at the man. He’d say it looks more intimidating when he’s got blood dripping down his face and still has its defiant stare. He hopes it does, at least.

“I’m a Time Lord,” the Doctor says. “From Gallifrey.”

The man seems more confused than anything. Humans and their isolation, anyone else would be at least a little unnerved.

“That’s supposed to make you frightened,” Donna chirps. The Doctor turns its head to give Donna a look and promptly gets punched again.

“Doesn’t frighten me,” says the man.

“Yes, I can see that.”

“Stop hitting him,” Donna shifts closer to him. “We told you, we don’t have a plan, now can we go.”

“No plan,” the Doctor backs her up. “Never got a plan. Just stroll in, me.”

“Then why did you try to free the Ood?”

“Because what you’re doing to them is barbaric, do I really need to say anything else?”

He’s punched again and Donna elbows him in the ribs, which it really thinks is not the time. “Doctor, is there any way you can not antagonise the person actively hurting you?” she hisses.

“Not really,” it responds.

“You’re the worst.”

“You love me—“ he’s cut off by another fist hitting its stomach.

“Leave it alone!” Donna shouts.

“What are you planning and what did you do? How did you find them?”

“Not planning anything, done barely anything, luck.”

The man punches him yet again and Donna blurts out, “He heard them!”

The Doctor deflates as Donna continues. “He’s telepathic, it heard them sing, they were afraid. We’re not just gonna leave them there.”

“Donna,” the Doctor says. “Why?”

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t just let them hurt you.”

“And worse is fine?”

“What do you mean worse is fine?”

The Doctor motions with his head to where the man is talking in a hushed tone over the radio.

“Ah,” Donna says. “Fuck.”

so it starts off with classic miscommunication, right?

which they're kinda used to, because that's how their relationship started.

and maybe they're at a party, and drew has this classmate of his come up next to him- its a girl, he can't quite remember her name, but he knows he's supposed to be her partner for a project. so he quickly asks what the project is, having been out for a game.

and all ellie sees from a distance is a girl rubbing up and down drew's arm, leaning in close, whispering in his ear.

how could he?

so ellie is quickly bolting out of there, unable to face drew. she unknowingly passed by a. few of his teammates, mumbling a lot louder than intended about "fuck him if he thinks he can do that to me.", etc.

she shouldn't have left. because of course, in her inebriated state, she thought it was a good idea. it wasn't.

she wasn't the worst one on the road however. there was another driver, swerving through multiple lanes. right into hers.

he clipped the side of her vehicle, making her ram into a pole. and while she wasn't unconscious on impact, she knew she would be soon. so she quickly calls 911- "911 hats your emergency?" "I-i need help. I-i got in my car after a drink or two, but IT WASNt me, promise! this guy was swerving, and he swerved in my lane but couldn't-" and then her end of the line goes silent.

police are immediately tracking her phone, getting her in the ems,a nd to the hospital asap.

of course, while this is happening, drew has made it back to his dorm, but he's drunk, and he's worried about ellie. he falls alseep before "she gets back" ignorant to the calls spamming his phone.

the next morning, he's answering frantically. "hey, who is this?"

"mr.fortescue, this is the hospital. it says here you're the emergency contact for an eliana brielle?"

"yes that's correct." drew's worried now, but he's trying not to show it.

"im afraid she was involved in a car accident last night. shes not in critical condition, but we made th decision to keep her over night for monitoring."

drew is so stressed and speechless- what does she mean by car accident?

"car accident? wha- how? how did this happen? what happened?" he's now crying into the phone.

"im afraid her vechile got clipped in an intersection, and she spun out into a pole. she was conscious when she called, but passed out on the phone with 911. we'll need you to come sign her out, and when you do that, we can give you a full run down."

drew is quick to frantically make his way to will's dorm- "SMITH WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?? because I just got a call that ellies in the hospital... ellies in the hospital" and he started to hyperventilate.

"forts, buddy, you've gotta calm down. what do you mean els is in the hospital?"

drew took in a big gulp of breath before responding "she got clipped in her car last night, hit a pole- smith, how could I let this happen?"

"forts, you didn't know. did the hospital tell you what to do?"

"yeah, they said I need to come sign her out" "well then lets go"

minutes later, the duo is walking into the hospital. "who are you here for?"

"eliana brielle" "mr.fortescue?" "thats me." "great, just sign here and here. shes in room 402, and she may be sleeping right now form the pain meds, and probably will for another hour or so. the room is down the hall to the left." "thank you"

they carefully made their way down the hall, will lingering behind drew, slowly updating everyone on what had happened.

once they reached her door, drew carefully opening the door.

his ellie. his poor ellie. what had she ever done to deserve this? out of anyone, why her?"

she had a cast wrapped meticulously around her wrist, what seemed to be bandages encasing her chest, gauze around her head, and a neck brace.

what the hell happened?

drew felt tears well up in his eyes as he stepped closer to her. he could hear will stop outside the door, giving him space. he hesitantly sat down by her bed, grasping her hand with his.

"sweet girl, im so sorry. you shouldn't have been in your car in the first place. why were you in the car?" he sobbed out, possibly a little too loud. next thing he knows, will is creeping in the room.

"...I may know why she was in the car. did you say/do something to her last night."

"not that I can remember, no."

"lenny says he swore he heard ellie mumbling something as she ran outside, something long the liens of 'fuck him if he thinks he can do that to me.' so dude, sorry to tell you, but I think you did something."

drew was grasping at mental straws, but he was drawing a blank...until he remembered his overly touchy partner, and now that he thought about it, he may have seen ellie out of the corner of his eye... no that was defiantly ellie. shit. what had he caused?

"...the only thing that happened was an overly touchy project partner, but im not sure if she even saw it. but if she did... Smitty what f she thinks I cheated? I didn't, I swear!"

"relax forts, if I ever thought you were going to cheat on els, I wouldn't have let you date her. I trust you."

right as will said that, they began to hear pained mumbles coming from the hospital bed. "smit? baby? wha happen?" her words were slurred, but. her point was across.

"you got in a crash ellie, you're in the hospital now. you remember what happened?"

her eyes were slowly blinking, flooding with realization. "you-you cheated drew- you 'urt me:(" and her eyes started to well up.

he immediately reached for her hadn't, pressing see tkisses to her fingers, "sweet girl, shhh, I promise you, I didn't, I love you endlessly. I would never."

"you love me?" she asked as excitedly as possible, while still being half-way asleep. "yeah baby, to the moon. im sorry for whatever made you think differently."

"cuddle?" "yeah sweet girl, just for an hour though, then we have to go."

"oka... smitty!" els tired eyes shoes with recognition. "hi!" "hi ellie!" will responded, a few tears creeping out. thank god he didn't lose her, because what would he have done without his best friend? never mind him, what would drew have done without his other half?

Ae often has anger outbursts because Redd (I want him dead.) never taught aer anything at all throughout his '''custody''' of aer. And so she was never taught how to healthily manage her anger

SHE CAN BUZZ.

Most, if not all, of her nicknames consist of just, bugs. Moth. Firefly. Bee. Wasp and Hornet are used a lot by the other Heroes (in an endearing way ofc). Beetle is by far everyones (especially Bug's) #1 fav tho (they secretly named her journal "Beetle" but they wont ever admit it)

On the topic of nicknames, she does NOT like being called "Buggy" by ANYONE. They WILL get violent

Ae got nervous at just the idea of maturing and ae straight-up screamed when they got the first piece for aer

She is VERY much an avid birdwatcher. They will talk to HOURS about it to Hexalace (Hexalace is TERRIFIED of birds BUT she tries her best to listen anyway)

Before they ended up apologizing to Gold for being a bitch they started going out of their way to do little things for him- very simple things like finding (or, 'finding', with heavy quotations in some instances.) (She stole a lot of it) something ae heard that he was looking for and leaving it in his windowsill during the night. (Said example scared the shit out of Gold and he was so on edge throughout that whole timeframe)

They tend to the other Heroes' rambles about their interests a lot and thats how they got into most of their own (ae tinkers with a bit of technology thanks to Gold, in fact. Shut up I'm inserting my headcanons here /silly/lh)

She eats uncooked spaghetti noodles and LOVES cheese

They and Gold do occasionally vibe together (it was extremely awkward every time at first)

Before Hexalace became aer new caretaker ae was bouncing back and forth between staying with the other caretakers (Pentellow and Iris & Cube mostly, VERY rarely Pyrare, only in extreme emergencies because they all learned that Bug did NOT manage very well being in a room with Pyrare (and/or Gold for that matter, as this was VERY pre-apology)

She's went to a funeral once and made a really bad joke that 'why is everyone wearing grayscale, I thought that was my thing' (they were immediately removed from said funeral, ae didn't really understand why until way later)

She spells Hexalace's name as 'Hezalace' and REFUSES to spell it any other way, even if someone tries teaching them that it's not a 'Z' it's an 'X'. Hexalace doesn't mind though she knows ae'll grow out of that one

For some reason, she and Gold ‘share a braincell’ (not literally) very often. Sometimes they'll have very similar reactions as each other to certain things, if not the exact same reaction.

She's a VERY skilled pickpocketer- if you need something Yoinked, that is your girl. They've stolen so many things from those she trusts to tease them a bit (ae has yet to understand that she has to give them back before ae leaves, sadly) that everyone now has a habit of checking their pockets even after just walking past Bug

This is due to a very specific headcanon that Herospeak (what i and The Besties™ call that little squeaky ass language that the Heroes do) is spoken in a VERY specific high pitch of voice and its natural to Heroes. (Non-Heroes CAN learn but it is it EXTREMELY hard and its also very hard to understand without the pitch that only Heroes can reach with their voice). Anyways- due to her connection just. Never Being There at first for a while, Bug did not know how to speak Herospeak at first. She also cant reach that pitch even with her connection being restored- so they have a VERY heavy accent when speaking in Herospeak causing her to need to repeat herself a lot

Back when ae was unmatured ae once pissed off Gold so bad he tried to put aer in the microwave

The closest comparison I can make for how I imagine her voice to sound like is the JubyPhonic cover of 'Yellow' and/or 'Lost One's Weeping'

❣︎ ➝shoto todoroki who meets you one day at the ice rink he normally goes there to help train the fire side of his quirk. as he’s walking through the doors he sees you on the ice its an early morning so he didnt expect anyone let alone you to be there he had seen you a few times at ua huh? nonetheless you look breathtaking your in your skirted leotard all shiny and he just sees you all of your spins and twirls on the ice you had did this particularly elegant upright spin one leg being held above your head your back slightly arched.you were out of breath panting slightly then you finally noticed another presence you started to look around for whatever was giving you this eerie feeling then your met with a pair of gray and teal eyes staring at you.

“you have very nice legs”

“uhm thank you…do i know you?”

❣︎ ➝izuku midoriya who notices in training how easily you can pull back from a fight to get a breather or how you can spin and dodge attcks! its kind of like his dodge moves! maybe you thought he was so admirable you took notes from him too! so obviously he has to question you on who’s agency you went to because he has never seen a fighting style like that!he doesn’t want to overwhelm you though so he tries to keep his ranting to a minimum! even if you tell its fine and he can rant to you

“i saw you out there training today and uhm i was wondering how did you learn all of those dodge moves?”

“oh well i actually did some tumbling but mainly ballet wich is why im able to!”

“oh wow!”

thats so smart why didnt he think of that! you were able to spin and dodge because you did ballet! well after a while of teaching him some moves for dodging you guys became friends then started dating he goes to everyone of your plays and shows!

❣︎ ➝katsuki bakugou who notices you in ua you were in lunch yelling some guys head off for whatever reason he just knew you were pissed then all of a sudden it had broke out into a fight and you were…winning? holy shit you were! the guy seemed like no match for you but he guesses it was the other way around once you had started beating that guy up there was a decent sized crowd around you,he assumed mr.aizawa was on the way soon but after the guy was on the floor you lifted one of your fists up it looked like you barely had a single scratch the crowd broke into cheers all around! until mr.aizawa showed up to take you to the principal nezu’s office it seems like you werent new there! thats the first time he saw you and definitely wouldnt be the last.the next time he saw was a saturday afternoon at his favorite boxing place he saw you in the ring you had won once again gloved hand in the sky mouth guard in place,you were widely smiling,your eyes looked batshit crazy maybe thats what peeked his interest in you and why he wanted to talk to you in class the next day.

“oi nerd dont i know you from somewhere?”

“we go to the same classes so i would assume you knew me you idiot”

“not what i meant smartass,i meant i saw you in the ring last saturday”

“you saw my win?”

“hell yeah”

Since that day you guys became an unstoppable duo both of you guys being fierce hotheads and thats what he loved the most about you.

❣︎ ➝ejirou kirishima who originally meets you through katsuki not because your friends.. more like cooking enemies? you and katsuki had a cook off both of you making a spicy curry to see who’s was the best of course! and the only person able to handle the spice of the dishes was kiri! anyone else would have burnt their damn tounge off! he was sitting at the common room table both bowls of curry siting in front of him the both smelt heavenly! you and katsuki were standing before him and there was some sort of tension in the air.

“so.. what am i doing here?”kiri asked

“you’re here because you’re deciding on whos curry is best! and plus you’re the only one who can take the heat”you informed.

“what nerd said”

He tasted both and they were so good but he knew he had to choose one.

“uhm the one on the right”

“yes!!”

holy crap! your cooking was better then katsukis! well ever since that day when you and katsuki have cook offs he is your test subject he gets free food and a drama show two wins for one! but of course kiri has to befriend you because no one has ever beaten katsuki’s cooking like that!

❣︎ ➝denki kaminari who notices you during the ua festival your running all around the school a lanyard with a camera adorned around your neck,he assumed your taking pictures for the schools news about the festival! hes listend to your podcast,read some of your papers,even looked at the adds for upcoming events! he only wnated to be well rounded and informed about the school right? well you were very admirable weren’t you? you always had the most interesting talks on the podcast,the eye catching pictures for the schools website he definitely had to talk to you so he could put up an add for his classes band performance that way he can get even more people to come the adds you made were so fun and noticeable anyways and thats just what they needed!

“sure do! can i help you with something?”

“yeah actually i need some posters for my classes band performance can you please help me make some?”

well know he had to meet you he saw you in ua sure but you never really talked to anyone.you guys soon talked though sometimes about work sometimes cats or whatever you were crocheting. it was nice to meet someone who was quite and wasnt always up in his bubble and someone who wasnt scared of his quirk.

❣︎ ➝hanta sero has seen you around ua! you’ve beaten him a few times in training and your personality was always super calm and laid back he really did like you! and wanted to get to know you more he doesnt know why you were just so captivating maybe it was the laid back personality,maybe it was the way you smelled like sea salt and flowers,maybe it was the way you were so relaxing. well he has been sulking around for some time so the bakusqaud insisted that he come to the beach with him to take his mind off things the ocean always calmed him down! him and his friends had arrived at the beach he was in his teal swimming trunks flamingos with different accessories plasted all over them he looked towards the ocean only to see a big wave and someone surfing it? it was…you? it really was you! your feet were planted sternly on the board,your hair was wet and slightly weighed down on your shoulders,and you were wearing a teal triangle bikini flamingos all over it! you guys had to be soulmates he thought! suddenly you were down with the wave and started swimming back out to shore to sit on your board for a while.you were sitting there a sandwich in your hands drink,chips and fruits to the side.when the sound of the sand crunching broke the sounds of the waves.

“hey! uh im hanta sero i dont know if you know me but we both go to ua”

“of course i know you! come sit”and patted the empty space on your board he found out it was really easy to conversate with you! you offered him some of your food and even talked about how you guys were matching corny bathing suits! safe to say you guys ended up captivating each other.

❣︎ ➝tamaki amajiki who meets you through nejire if anything he wouldnt have talked to you at all! he had seen you a few times sure! but you were intimidating and bold.he found out through nejire that you were on the debate team no wonder you were so bold and fierce! he admired you for some time now they way you could easily be around people,talk on the news when you had captured a villian he really liked you and your ways! it was sealed though when one day nejire asked him to go with her to one of your debates claiming she saw the way he looked at you and maybe you guys could get closer! well he did go only you see you and you looked amazing your at some podium with others and another school on the other side he didn’t even remember what it was about just that you were a master at your craft and ua’s school won the event.nejire eneded up giving him a little push to talk to you though!

“duh! i know who you are silly! but im y/n i saw you hanging out with mirio and nejire!” you had continued to ramble on about how you knew him and his friends you were intimidating sure but you were also very easygoing and bubbly.good thing opposites attract.

❣︎ ➝kyouka jirou who was in the kitchen one evening making a cup of momos tea the kettle on stove boiling, she quickly reached into the cabinets to grab her favorite mug, it was surrounded by other beautiful mugs some had a floral print on them, bows ,cats, just all around random prints! when did we get so many mugs she thought none the less she grabbed her mug and poured the hot water into the glass with the tea bag,thats when the doors to the dorms opened and you were there you had on a white apron with some clay stains on your hand were slightly muddy and you were holding a brand new project in your hands!

“jirou just the girl i wanted to see! i made you something…” you held out your hands a mug with little purple guitars on it and a little circular cd tray

“what are these for?”

“oh uhm the mug i made because you didnt have many and the cd is a place you can put your guitar picks i hope you like them”

“thanks thats really thoughtful of you!” every now and then she would receive little tokens off appreciation from you some being mugs,pots,etc no matter what she cherished them.

❣︎ ➝ochaco uraraka who noticed that everyday you came back to the dorm you had some sort of apron on and dirt all over it so after a while she asked you what was up with that only you find out you had a small garden walks away from here! how cool so on a random sunny saturday she came with you to the garden inside where all types of fruits and veggies! well it became a routine for you guys to walk there and chat about class,then you would take care of whatever plants were in season,you would clean up and head back to the dorms a simple routine really! but you enjoyed her joyful presence,but you didnt miss the way she stare down the strawberries i mean they were ripe right? it was the day after you guys had done your normal routine so sunday,you walked into the dorms and uraraka was in the kitchen looking in the fridge for something or maybe she was just rummaging around for a snack! who knows well you had gotten her a little gift anyways.

“hey uraraka! i brought you something”

“hey y/n! what is it you know i hate when you spend money on me”

“well lucky for you i spent no money on this!”you handed her the small container of strawberries

“strawberries? but you growing these all season..i cant these”

“uh yes you can and you will! i insist”

so not only did you guys have a regular routine to go to your garden together but you gift her whatever fruit she was eyeing or wich ever one was in season.she would never get tired of your gifts from the garden.

....On another planet. Watching Thor be forced to fight some old dudes “Champion”, whatever that means.

Let’s go back to the beginning.

Nerves filled your body as you walked to school. You had an audition in the school play today and you were determined to get the part. Tony had offered to take you to school today but you decided to walk as it would give you extra time to learn your lines. As you pushed through the busy streets, occasionally bumping into a random pedestrian, you heard some girls whispering.

“Oh my god is that..”

“Yes! oh my go, he's so handsome”

“Ask him for a selfie”

“No you go ask hm”

At first you rolled your eyes, thinking it was just some youtuber or Tik tok star, you kept walking, eyes down re-reading your script. Then you heard the girls speak again. 

“Thanks Thor, I’m sorry Jane dumped you.” 

Hearing the name, your head swiveled up. You scanned the crowd looking for the blonde man, at first missing him as he wasn’t in his usual outfit of a cape and battle armour. But then you saw him, in a hoodie and some jeans. Picking up the pace, you jog toward the god not noticing the darker clothed man next to him.

“....it was a mutual dumping”

“I didn’t know the renaissance fair was in town” you say, a small smirk making its way on your face at the quip. 

Both Thor and ...Loki?! Turn around in surprise at the sudden voice behind them. Only to see you looking up at them with a arched brow. 

“Lady Y/n! How wonderful it is to see you” Thor boomed as he brought you into a bone crushing hug. Over his shoulder you could see Loki roll his eyes. 

“Honestly, had I known this trip would consist of young woman flocking to you, I would have allowed your hammer to kill me.”

Thor ignored his brother as he put you down. “My how you’ve grown.”

You smile and say, “Well the last time you saw me I was twelve.” Then you eye Loki with distrust. “Um Thor, why’d you bring brother dearest back to New York?” 

Loki looks at you with distaste, “ Who is this child, and why is she conversing with us?”

“Brother” Thor warns and then turns to you, “ Lady Y/n, we are searching for our father, it seems as if my brother” Thor harshly pats Loki on the shoulder, “ Has misplaced him.” 

You look at Loki and then look at the building that has been demolished

, “ Woah, I didn’t know Gods put their parents in nursing homes” You say “ If you want we can go back to the Tower and try to track him down”  

Thor smiles at the suggestion, “ A wonderful idea, tell me, how have my comrades been in my absence?” 

You cringe at the thought of explaining the events of the so called “Civil war”. Then notice a ring of sparks forming around Loki. 

“Uhh Thor” You say as you nod your head

“What’s this..wha.what are you doing?” He asks in alarm. Loki looks confused as the sparks get larger and more erratic.

“ This isn’t me” Loki says in confusion. Then suddenly the ground opens up beneath him and he falls through with an alarmed “Oh!” only leaving behind a business card. You and Thor look at each other, confusion written on both of your faces. 

“Loki” Thor whispers as he nudges the card with his umbrella. You look at him with concern and think to yourself

“Does..does he think the cards Loki?” 

You bend down to pick up the business card and read it out loud. 

“177a Bleeker St” you look at Thor and ask,” Do you know anyone from there?” 

“ No” He says, ‘ i don’t even know where that is.” 

You sigh, looking down at your script and making a decision. “ Well, lets go find your brother.” 

And with that, you turn around and start walking to your destination.

“Oh well, school can wait”

You and Thor find yourselves in front of two big black doors. You stand near Thor as he raises his hand to knock. Suddenly, before his hand is able to touch the door, you find yourselves inside the building. 

“What the fuck?” you mutter to yourself as you look around.

“Thor Odinson” a deep voice says. You look up to see a floating figure in the shadows coming towards you both. Thor pushes you behind him as he holds him umbrella threateningly. If you weren’t in potential danger, you would have laughed at the sight. The figure floated into the light and you saw it was a man. 

He was wearing a cloak and some weird robes with yellow gloves. He was relatively handsome, salt and pepper hair that was slicked back, high cheek bones and a goatee. He wasn’t horrible to look at. His deep, baritone voice was soothing.

“God of Thunder” He said looking at Thor. He glanced at the umbrella. “ You can put down the umbrella.” Then his gaze turned to you. 

“Y/n Banner. I wasn’t expecting you here” He said eyes narrowing at you,” Shouldn’t you be in school?”

You chuckled nervously, “ Eh, how can I abandon a friend in need?” 

The man smiles and looks back at Thor and suddenly your in a different room. Looking around in awe you hear Thor start talking.

“So..Earth has wizards now” He says, picking up a dagger from a display on a table, then dropping all of them trying to put them back. You try to hold back a laugh, feeling embarrassed for the god. 

You might have failed though because Thor looked at you with an unimpressed glance. You giggle out loud this time, as you watch him struggle with the knives. Everytime he managed to put one back, another fell. 

“The preferred term is Master of the Mystic arts...” Clank! another knife falls. The man looks very unimpressed, at your giggling and Thor's clumsiness.” You can leave that now.” 

At those words Thor leaves the knifes, trying to regaine his cool, he leans against the table. 

“Alright wizard, who are you and why should I care?” 

“Thor! That’s rude!”  

Ignoring you, their conversation continues, 

“My name is Dr. Stephen Strange and I have some questions for you.”  He says as he eyes you and Thor. “Have a seat”  

Within a second you’re in another room in the building...or least you think it is. The wind blows your hair back as you are suddenly dropped into a chair. You can see Thor look around startled and confused at the sudden setting change. You’re sure your face mirrored his as well.

“Tea?” Dr. Strange asks nonchalantly, a cup of tea appearing in your hands. You look at it in awe, not used to this level of magic, or magic at all. Thor on the other hand looked unimpressed with the cup.

“I don’t drink tea.” He says examining the cup that looked small in his hands. 

“Well what do you drink?”

“Not tea.” Thor says shaking his head. You roll you eyes as you go for a sip of tea, but before you can a large pitcher of beer was in its place. You look up at the two men with a raised eyebrow. 

“I hate to be a bother, but I do drink tea” 

Strange looked at you in amusement as he returns the beer to tea. 

“Jesus made water into wine, you make beer into tea. Interesting..” You say as you sip your tea. It was perfectly brewed of course. Dr. Strange smiled at the comparison

“Well its not exactly like that” Then he turned to Thor, “ So, I keep a watch list of individuals and beings from the realms that may be a threat to this world. Your adopted brother Loki is one of those beings.” 

You scoff and roll your eyes and mutter, “Yeah no kidding.” Then you finish the last sips of tea, as you bring it down, the glass is already refilled

Thor looks up from his glass that he basically chugged,”Thats a worthy inclusion” His beer is refilled as well. He looks at it in astonishment.

“Then why bring him here?” Strange asks leaning forward.

“We’re looking for my father.” 

“So..if I were to tell you where Odin was..all parties concerned would return to Asgard” He then looks at you, “ or upper Manhattan.” 

“Promptly” “Try and keep me away from this place.” 

“Great then I’ll help you...and get to that later” 

You smirk at the doctor, knowing that it’s basically impossible to squash your curiosity once you get started. Then you realized something.

“Wait, if you knew where Odin is, why didn't you tell anyone?”

“Well he was very adamant he was not to be disturbed,” He turned to Thor, “Your father had chosen to remain in exile. Also you don’t have a phone.” 

“Hmm, no I don’t have a..a phone but you could’ve sent an electronic letter. It’s called an email.”

“Thor you don’t have a computer.”

“What for?” 

You lock eyes with Dr. Strange and share a look. 

“Uh huh well, my father is no longer in exile, so if you can tell me where he is, the quicker I can take him home.” Thor then takes a sip of his beer.

“Okay, hes in Norway.” Suddenly your on your feet again standing an a library of some sort. You’re a bit unbalance and catch yourself on the self. Strange is muttering to himself as he looks through a book. Then again, you’re in another room with a shelf. Nearly falling over you cling onto Thor, but he’s in no better shape than you, beer spilling everywhere. 

“Oh we don’t need that” Boom, in another room, this time you do fall and Thor breaks another shelf. He places the glass on a table, shaking the spilled beer of his person. 

“Can you stop doing that?” He asked irritated 

“Please” you add in, looking up from your place on the ground. 

You’re on your feet in a blink of an eye, feeling dizzy at the continuous movement. 

“Can I..I need a piece of your hair.” Strange says looking at Thor. 

“Let me tell you something, my hair is not to be --OW” 

You smile sweetly as you pass the yanked out hair to the Strange. “ Here you go Dr. Wizard.”  He makes a face at the nickname but takes the hair with a nod of thanks. Thor looks at you in betrayal. 

“Don’t be such a drama queen” You say rolling your eyes.  You then walk away from the duo, examining books and artifact that were in the room. You were too caught up in looking at all the cool stuff you didn’t pay attention to the rest of the conversation. Suddenly you were in the front room again. You managed to stay on your feet as Thor tumbled down the stairs. You watched in amazement as Dr. Strange did some hand movements and created a shape in sparks. 

“Could’ve just walked.” Thor muttered as he brushed the dust and wrinkles out off of his clothes. 

“He’s waiting for you.” Then Dr. Strange turned to you,” Would you like to go home Ms. Banner?” 

You looked at him with consideration,” Um Mister Strange, do you think you can help me find my dad?” 

“I’ll see what I can do.” Then he turned to Thor,” Don’t forget your umbrella.

“Oh right.” Thor sticks his arm out like he’s summoning his hammer. You look at him confused. Then you here several bangs and crashes, as if something is being thrown around the rooms. 

“ohhh thats where your hammer went” 

Dr. Strange looks at Thor unimpressed again.

“Sssorry” The umbrella lands in his hands and he brushes the glass off the hammer.” I suppose I need my brother back”

“Oh right”

The a portal appears a few feet off the ground, in comes Loki screaming as he falls and hits the ground. 

He flips his hair back as he catches his breath, “ I have been falling..FOR THIRTY MINUTES” 

You snicker as you go to help the god of mischief up,” Come on reindeer games, lets get you up” 

He doesn’t decline your help but he doesn’t thank you either. You turn to see Thor and Strange shake hands.

“Handle me?!” “Oh boy” “ Who are you?”

“Loki..”

“You think you’re a sorcerer? Don’t think for one minute--”

“Alright bye bye” The portal then is thrown to them as Loki charges with two daggers. 

It’s silent in the room as you whislte,” Well he’s very catty.”

Strange laughs as he nods,” Come on kid lets find your dad.”

You’re then taken back to the library and you give him a piece of your hair. 

“You have had quite the adventure today.” Dr. Strange says as he looks through the books again.

“Ehh, when you live with the Avengers stuff like this is an everyday thing.”

“I could imagine” He says smiling at you. “ Well..it seems like your father is off world”

“Off world?” You question,”why would he be...?”

“Your guess is as good as mine.” Then a bag appeared in front of you. 

“I have a feeling you won’t stop searching until you find your father.” He nods to the bag. “ Everything you need to survive in Sakkarr is in there, I trust you know how to use knives?” 

“Yeah, Bucky taught me.”

“Perfect, now you must try to get on the grandmasters good side, that’ll give you the resources you need to find your father. Don’t get caught by scavenger or scrapper , you’ll either get eaten or sold into slavery.”

“Slavery?” you ask with an eyebrow raised.

“Sakkarr is known to be the ‘dump’ of the universe. It’s filled with people you must be weary of. The main entertainment are these gladiator type fights the Grandmaster puts on.” He thinks for a bit the conjures up a portal. He pulls a amulet out of it then hands it to you. “If you find your father, or need a quick escape, rub this amule three times t and I’ll make a portal for you to come back home” 

You nod, nervous to go on your personal mission. You look up at Dr.strange and hug him. “ Thanks Dr.Wizard.”

He pats your back uncomfortably,” It’s Stephen.” 

You let go of him and smile,”Well, beam me up Scotty” 

He rolls his eyes and creates a portal, you take a deep breath and look at him. He sends you a reassuring smile and you’re filled with determination. Then you step through.

You step through it to see...the steps to some weird looking palace. You look around to see an even weirder looking city. It looks like its built out of scraps of metal or parts. You walk up the steps and into the palace. You look around, astonished at the amount of people?? 

Beings. So many different kinds of aliens. All different colors and shapes. It was like a Star Wars movie. Then you see a familiar face. 

“Loki??” 

He looks up at you in confusion, you speed towards him, happy to see a familiar face. Even if it is Thor's evil brother.

“Ah Thor's child friend. This doesn’t seem like your type of setting.”

“I’m looking for my father, Stephen says he’s here.” 

He scoffs, looking around the room. “It seems everyone is looking for their fathers.” 

“What are you doing here? I thought you were in Norway with Thor and your dad” 

“Well it seems that father dearest has been hiding a secret daughter. Who appeared after my father died. And is destined to destroy Asgard.”

“Well shit” you blurt out. “Are..are you okay?”

Loki looks at you like you’re a puzzle. 

“What.”

“Well..” you start nervously, “it sounds like a traumatic experience, so..are you okay?”

He’s quiet for a few minutes, just staring at you. Suddenly he turns around. “We must see the grandmaster. He’s the only one who can guarantee your protection, and I’m sure you would prefer not to be slaughtered brutally in the competition.”

He walks ahead of you, and you stare after him wondering what just happened. Then after he noticed you’re not following him he turns and says

“Well, come on. I haven’t got all day.”

“Oh right.” You catch up to him and walk by his side. Looking around in wonder.

“Why are you looking around like that?” Loki asks as he makes his way through a crowd of...pink women. They had their hair in very intricate styles and weird metallic unitards. They eyed you as you passed by them.

“I feel like I’m in a Star Wars movie.” You pass by a man, he looked almost reptilian. He had pale yellow skin with green slits as his eyes. He looks like he was gambling or something.

“I don’t know what that is. Why would stars commence in battle? It makes no sense.” Loki scoffs as he turns to look at you. You laugh at his misunderstanding.

“I just..never seen..” you trail off not knowing how to explain. Luckily, Loki seems to get what you were says.

“ I can see this is a bit of a change for you. But..you have seen people from other planets before.”

“ yeah..it’s just a lot to take in.” You smile at Loki, “ I’ll be fine, don’t worry. I can freak out about it after I meet the Grandmaster.”

He nods his head and starts walking again, but this time he’s closer to you. Finally, you reach a large room. It’s filled with guards all wearing different colored armor. They part as Loki walks through them, confident with long strides. You follow him, shrinking under their gaze. Loki leans down to whisper to you

“ when you meet the grandmaster, do not be too meak . And do not mention anything about your father till I tell you. Actually, just follow my lead.”

You look up at him and before you say anything, a large woman appears in the room. She looks normal to you. Stocky, a stern face with white markings. A slicked back bun. She’s wearing yellow armor with black accents. She’s holding a large staff with an orb attached to the end.

“ Didn’t the Grandmaster just see you” she says to Loki, glaring at him. Loki smiles charmingly and says

“Oh yes, but it appears that I have found a...friend.. of mine. She, like I, has arrived here on Sakkarr by accident and is hoping to meet with the Grandmaster.”

Then Loki nudges you in front of him, and into the view of the woman. She looks at you with distaste.

“ Poor child is skin and bones. She’s puny.”

You look in offense, but before you can say anything Loki spoke for you.

“Yes, and that’s why I have decided to take her under my wing.”

“ Can she not speak for herself? You expect the Grandmaster to—“ “ Easy Topaz”

“Loki! How wonderful to see you again, even though it’s been about twenty minutes”

A voice cut through the air. Suddenly everyone in the room stood up straight. Topaz immediately stopped talking and turned. A man came in on a floating throne. He was wearing red, blue, and gold robes. He had a blue line down his chin and blue under eye liner. He...he looked like..

“Jeff Goldblum?”

Loki looked at you like you were insane and the Grandmaster and Topaz just looked confused.

“What did she call me?” He whispered to Topaz, she looked at him in equal bafflement. She then tries to hand him the staff.

“ Why are you handing me the melty stick?! She had a slip of a tounge! That’s not a capital offense”

“What is wrong with you?” “I’m sorry! It just slipped out!” “ Do you want to die” “To be fair, that was the biggest compliment I could have given him. Jeff Goldblum is basically a god of cinema.”

Topaz looked at the Grandmaster, “ apparently this..Jeff.. is a god from her world.”

“Hm, child.”

You and Loki stop your whisper arugument and turn to the Grandmaster.

“Come forward.”

You look at Loki in fear and step up to the floating throne.

“Hm” The man says as he examines you. You suddenly feel self conscious about what you’re wearing. A Jurassic park shirt (ironically) with a turtleneck under, some plaid pants and converse. To be fair you weren’t expecting to end up on a different planet.

“I don’t know what Jurassic park is, but look there’s a big lizard on her shirt” he says to Topaz, “ you like lizards?” He asks you. Your eyes widened at the question not expecting it.

“Oh I think I’ve embarrassed her, it’s okay if you like them. I don’t personally like them, they’re all scales and fast and blegh” the Grandmaster rambles then Topaz chimes in

“ and they can grow back limbs”

“Yes! That’s disgusting”

“ I’m sorry, it’s not a lizard, it’s a dinosaur ” you explain. “ it’s from a movie, it has Jeff Goldblum...”

You trail off as they stare at you.

“ Go on, you keep mentioning this Jeff Goldblum, I’d like to hear more about him.”

So there you were, explaining all the different movies Jeff Goldblum was in. From the Fly to Jurassic Park. Everyone seemed...intrested. The Grandmaster somehow got it in his head that you were this great storyteller. So now you were on his good side, just like Loki.

“ Storyteller, I welcome you to Sakkarr! I have never met a child with such interesting stories!” He turns to Topaz, “ Aren’t they entertaining?! So adventurous!”

“ I think they’re weird.” “ Oh don’t be such a buzzkill”

“ I thank you Grandmaster, for being so gracious with my...ward” Loki says, “I assure you that I will keep her out of trouble.”

“ Yes yes, now go, if she is going to stay here, she’ll need to fit in. Topaz, see if you can find a tailor for the child, she’ll need a change of clothes. You as well Loki”

She nods and gestures for you both to follow her. As you walk through the futuristic castle, you are completely in awe. Even though you live with Tony, this is a different kind of technology. Topaz gives you both a tour. She mentions the fights and the arena, but you don’t pay too much attention. Finally you make it to the tailor. After being fussed over and much debating, you finally come to an agreement.

You end up with a sort of body armor. With a black catsuit made out of a leather like material, there were pieces of armor covering your legs, hips, torso, shoulders and arms. Blue fabric was wrapped around your waist, draping down the front and under the armor there. There was also fabric wrapped around your upper arm and shoulders preventing the straps from rubbing against your skin. Finally, to top it all off, a long blue cape drape down your shoulders. You felt awesome. You took the daggers Stephen gave you out of the bag and attached them to your hips. And the amulet around your neck.

“What do you think?” You asked Loki. He looked at you for a bit.

“Your daggers should be attached to your thighs, that way the hilts are at your fingertips and not your shoulders.” He squints for a bit, “ that cape looks ridiculous.”

“Fuck off man I look awesome.”

Loki just laughs and goes to put his outfit on. “ Such foul language for a child.” Then he comes out fully dressed. With a yellow cape.

“ oh? My cape was ridiculous?”

“Hush.”

You smile, and a silence falls between you both. You sigh and look down, playing with the end of your cape. Loki looks at you, examines your face, then looks away.

“ Why...why did you ask if I was alright?” He questions, “when you first saw me..?”

You looked at him your face scrunched in a puzzled expression, “ because.”

“Because what?” Loki asks, not understanding where your coming from.

“ I don’t know, because like I said, something that traumatic must’ve been shitty. I know I wouldn’t be okay.”

“I do not understand you. Why care about someone you never met? Nevertheless someone like me?”

“Someone like you?” Now you were really confused. What does he mean by that?

“No midgardian would trust me. Especially after...” He stops, hinting about the attack of New York. “ I am not... not a good person. Nor a good influence. Not for a child.”

“That’s bullshit.”

Your words seem to startle him.

“I beg your pardon?”

“ That’s. Bullshit.” You stand to face him.

“Loki, I’ve known you for about six hours. And in that time, you managed to help me gain favor of a ruler, enough for him to give me a room to stay in and new clothes. You also helped me when you could’ve just left me alone. From what I’ve seen, you’re pretty chill.”

“Chill?” He asks quirking an eyebrow.

“A good person.”

He stops and looks at you, “ you think I’m a good person? Even though I nearly destroyed your planet?”

“ Sure. We all make mistakes.”

He stares at you for a while. Smiles briefly and then gets up from where he was leaning.

“ You, my dear, are one odd child.” He walks out of the room. “Come along, I must get you to your room. It’s late and I am certain you e had a long day.”

You follow him to your room, turns out someone was paying attention to the tour. He leads you to your temporary room, shows you how to open the door and lock it, then makes sure your settled.

“Well, it’s time for me to retire. Good night child.”

When he doesn’t get a response he turns around, he sees you’ve fallen asleep on the bed. He chuckles at the sound of you muttering in your sleep.

“ An odd child indeed.”

Then he covers you, turns out the lights and shuts the door. Leaving you to go to his room.

( he promptly freaks out over how quickly he’s grown fond of you.)
